Pro Bono photography for Event Pros Take Action (EPTA), a charitable organization that allows special event professionals to give back to those in need; focusing on relief efforts for communities that have experienced a natural disaster and are in the process of recovering from substantial loss and rebuilding communities. Co-founded by Susie Perelman of Mosaic, Inc, and Larry Green of Rentals Unlimited in March 2011. The New Orleans effort serves Saint Bernard Project; and the Youth Project was added in 2015, serving Liberty's Kitchen and Covenant House.
These photographs, taken in 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017, highlight the ongoing need for reinvestment in New Orleans, particularly the Lower 9th Ward, so future generations can grow up in communities with new homes — not play jump rope in front of abandoned houses from decades past.
